It’s not my first time to be away from home. I’ve practically been away from it since I was 12. Hence, living away from my family has never been a problem. Getting uprooted from my niche neither stuns me. Sanay na ko.
But surprisingly there are things I never expect I would miss. There are two i sorely did so far.

Warning the ff text is not entirely wholesome. Proceed to number 2 if you are a not into yucky stuff. Number 1 is kinda gross.
- Dipper. Opo, in Tagalog - tabo. Matagal na ring akong di gumagamit nito. Coz in the Phils we have either water bidet, sprinkler, or tabo. Those ive been to before I left happens to have bidet. So no more dippers. Pagdating ko dito, naku walang bidet or sprinkler. Pano ba yan? Of course walang tabo. Hindi ako sanay sa dry treatment lang. Gusto ko dry then wet. Naghanap ako…. Walang mabilhan. Muntik na akong bumili ng Pyrex Bake Ware for the purpose. Oh my gosh!
- Palengke. It’s been so many years since I last set foot in true blue wet market. Hindi naman kasi ako nagluluto ng while I was in Manila. Groceries and supermarkets likewise offered competitive prices, so bakit pa ko pupunta ng palengke? Fortunately, after four weeks of stay, someone brought us to a wet market. Tuwang-tuwa ako. At may asian store dun. Ang galeng! May patis, Datu Puti Soy Sauce and Vinegar, UFC banana ketchup, Century Tuna at Longganisa!!!! Ung nga lang hindi rin ako namili. Kasi mas mahal pa sya than those sold in the Supermarkets. Back to reality. Go sa supermart at bumili ng western food. At least nakapunta na ko sa palengke. :-)
